We come from various backgrounds and we believe that diversity and involvement makes Idaho a better place.

Our Mission

• To introduce, develop, and instill in young people an active interest in governmental affairs and the electoral process.

• Foster and promote the philosophies, principles and goals of the Democratic Party.

• Develop leadership skills in our members.

• Involve ourselves in programs to improve voter education and participation and contribute to the well-being of the community at large.

• To form the foundation and continual expansion of the Young Democrats of America.

• Provide all citizens the highest degree of justice and social welfare.

What we do

 We enable young people to turn passion into action
• We foster local chapters chartered through IDYD
• We support political campaigns
• We promote issue awareness, education and advocacy
• We partner with Democratic and progressive organizations to enact change
• We provide resources for young political operatives
• We represent Idaho at the national level
